Judge temporarily blocks ban in Fullerton on vehicle living

Kirkland & Ellis and Disability Rights Legal Center challenged the ordinance they said was aimed at ridding the streets of people living in RVs

An Orange County judge temporarily barred the city of Fullerton from enforcing its ban on people living in vehicles parked on a street.

“This was an important step in protecting our clients’ interests and rights while the case proceeds toward trial,” said Matthew Summers, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP who brought the case along with the Disability Rights Legal Center.
