The State Bar has proposed a $249 increase in bar exam fees for law students who plan to take the test next year.
The bar is also proposing to eliminate testing in San Diego, Oakland and Sacramento next year to reduce costs.
The public comment period on the proposals ends on July 31.
Under the proposal, registration, bar exam and test center charges for students would rise from $811 to $1,060.
