FTC blocked again from halting Microsoft-Activision deal

The rejection of the FTC’s bid was widely expected on a day in which the commission and Chair Lina M. Khan faced setbacks in the courts and aggressive criticism from Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee.

A federal judge in San Francisco rejected a bid by the Federal Trade Commission to temporarily enjoin Microsoft Corp.’s acquisition of Santa Monica-based game developer Activision Blizzard Inc.
