Pop group wants new IP trial against dollmaker

The motions cite last month’s U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding a dog toy that resembled a bottle of Jack Daniels.

A former pop group in an intellectual property dispute with toymaker MGA Entertainment Inc. is asking a federal judge for a new trial, citing a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court made two weeks after the pop group’s trial loss.
