2 attorneys, judge withdraw from ethics proceedings for Girardi’s son-in-law

Two Los Angeles attorneys withdrew from State Bar disciplinary proceedings against former Girardi Keese attorney David R. Lira and the judge recused herself the same day, according to court records.
No reason was given for State Bar Court Judge Cynthia Valenzuela’s recusal on June 11 in documents filed by the bar on Wednesday. They stated Judge Phong Wang had stepped in.
