La Cañada Flintridge may face 'builder's remedy' to bypass its zoning laws
The city could now be subject to a "builder's remedy" -- a state action allowing developers of affordable housing to bypass zoning requirements in cities without a state-approved housing plan.




A Los Angeles Superior Court judge found that La Cañada Flintridge missed a deadline to reach compliance with state housing guidelines, potentially opening the city up to state intervention.
