State civil rights agency seeks $138,000 in sanctions from Activision

State civil rights attorneys seek $138,386 in sanctions against Activision for continued discovery attempts after a judge ruled in 2022 that the company could not depose the lawyers in its attempt to prove they had a conflict of interest.

Two California Civil Rights Department attorneys who investigated sexual harassment claims against Activision Blizzard for both the state and the federal government are seeking $138,386 in sanctions for attempts to depose them a year after a judge said the company had no standing to do so.
