Former State Bar director wants remaining charges dismissed
In May, a State Bar Court review panel affirmed Judge Yvette Roland’s dismissal with prejudice of most of the charges because they related to matters the bar had already investigated based on a complaint by then State Bar Chief Trial Counsel Jayne Kim in 2014.




Counsel for former State Bar executive director Joseph Dunn said Monday he hopes to get the remaining disciplinary charges against his client dismissed this week.
“It’s our position that the entire proceeding is time barred and there is no possibility that can be refuted by the State Bar,” Ellen A. Pansky of Pansky Markle Attorneys at Law, one of Dunn’s attorneys stated during a status conference on Monday.
