Disney reaches settlement of annual passholder class action

No dollar amount for the settlement was disclosed, but both parties are to finalize the terms of their agreement for preliminary approval by Aug. 31, according to the notice.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts reached a settlement in a class action that alleged its resorts misled top-level annual passholders by “artificially” limiting capacity and restricting reservations.

An attorney for Disney Parks, David C. Marcus, partner-in-charge at WilmerHale in Los Angeles, said in an email on Tuesday, “We are satisfied that this matter has been resolved.”
