Girardi’s expert barred from competency hearing
Tom Girardi, 84, is accused of stealing $15 million from five clients and pleaded not guilty to five counts of wire fraud in February.
The federal judge overseeing the criminal case against disbarred attorney Thomas V. Girardi granted prosecutors’ motion to bar expert testimony from a criminal defense attorney at his competency hearing next month.
