MoFo and Perkins Coie sued over diversity fellowships

American Alliance for Equal Rights accused Morrison & Foerster LLP and Perkins Coie LLP of violating the Equal Rights Act of 1866 by blocking white and Asian American heterosexual men.

An organization founded by the same conservative activist who led this year’s successful U.S. Supreme Court challenge to affirmative action in college admissions is going after law firm fellowship programs for racial minorities and LGBTQ+ applicants.
