Law firm’s suit against Oracle for lost client is dismissed

Chao and Lopez P.A. and lead attorney Peter Chao accused Oracle of forcing their former client, Jay Wang, to sign a binding arbitration agreement, thus ending the suit they had filed for him. He then sought other counsel.

A San Francisco judge dismissed a lawsuit Monday from an Oakland law firm seeking to hold Oracle America Inc. liable for the loss of a law client who was compelled into arbitration after suing the company for wrongful termination and race discrimination.
