Twitter seeks dismissal of 4th shareholder complaint over cybersecurity

The flaws identified by the court were not fixed in the plaintiffs' amended complaint, which regurgitated already rejected legal theories, said Latham & Watkins LLP partner Michele D. Johnson.

Attorneys for Twitter Inc. and its chief privacy officer asked a federal judge to dismiss shareholders' fourth try at alleging that the former social media company misrepresented the strength of its cybersecurity defenses.
