Korematsu Center for Law and Equality comes to Irvine law

During World War II, Fred T. Korematsu, a 22-year-old welder in Oakland, opposed the government’s orders to leave his home and report to an internment camp.

In July, the Fred T. Korematsu Center for Law and Equality from the Seattle University School of Law and its executive director, Robert S. Chang, will merge into the University of California, Irvine School of Law.
