‘Ad Astra’ infringement case is dismissed
A screenwriter said the movie starring Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones mirrored a script he wrote.
A film studio owned by Walt Disney Co. and a talent agency defeated federal copyright infringement claims by a screenwriter accusing them of stealing his script to develop the 2019 movie “Ad Astra.”
