Heated Senate committee OKs California nominee

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Eumi K. Lee was approved 11-10.

During a heated U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday, the nomination of Alameda County Superior Court Judge Eumi K. Lee to a seat on the Northern District of California court advanced to the full Senate for a vote.
