San Francisco sues online flavored tobacco companies

“San Francisco and California have done a good job of enforcing against brick-and-mortar tobacco retailers, but online retailers are the next frontier in this fight.,” said City Attorney David Chiu.

San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu announced a new lawsuit Tuesday filed against three online tobacco companies, accusing them of violating ordinances prohibiting the sale of flavored tobacco and e-cigarettes.

In a news release, Chiu said this fight against the companies, Millennial One Inc., Gashiro Technology LLC, and DaSmokey LLC, represents “the next frontier” in California’s fight against a teen vaping epidemic.
