Coinbase can force account holder to arbitrate claims, 9th Circuit rules

The case reached the Supreme Court, which ruled in June that lawsuits implicating the Federal Arbitration Act must be stayed while a defendant seeks interlocutory appeal.

Coinbase Global Inc. can force an account holder to arbitrate his claims against the company, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel ruled Tuesday in a case that found its way to the U.S. Supreme Court this year.
