Attorneys for the company that invented the facial motion capture technology MOVA Contour and The Walt Disney Company began their offensives Wednesday in a dispute over whether Disney vicariously violated copyright laws.
The lawsuit says that Disney partnered with a visual effects company — Digital Domain 3.0 (DD3) — that was found to have stolen and used MOVA assets.
