Injunction denied for state ban on gun sales to young adults

S Between the Second Amendment enactment in 1791 and 14th Amendment enactment in 1868, “the rights of individuals under 21 years of age were commonly curtailed,” Senior U.S. District Judge M. James Lorenz wrote.

A federal judge in San Diego denied a preliminary injunction sought by gun rights organizations against a state law barring the sale, rental or delivery of long guns and limiting the sale of semi-automatic centerfire rifles to most young adults aged 18 to 20.
