Southwestern mulls mediator’s proposal in tenants’ lawsuit

The parties filed the ex parte application without prior notice because they all agreed to a continuance, and they do not want a ruling on the plaintiffs’ motion for trial preference to influence their decision regarding any mediator’s proposal.

Southwestern Law School and plaintiffs in a personal injury and landlord-tenant dispute have agreed to pause their litigation efforts as they consider a mediator’s proposal circulated Saturday by the retired Los Angeles judge Richard Stone of Signature Resolution.
