Bleich fired as chief legal officer of embattled Cruise

Cruise fired nine executives in total and said it would lay off 900 workers following an investigation into an accident in San Francisco.

Nine executives for the General Motors-owned autonomous vehicle company Cruise, including Chief Legal & Policy Officer Jeffrey L. Bleich, a former ambassador to Australia, were fired following an internal inquiry into an Oct. 2 accident in San Francisco involving one of its robotaxis.
