Sanders campaign settles employee discrimination suit

Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential campaign settled an employment lawsuit brought by its former California political director, according to a plaintiff’s attorney.

Susie Shannon claimed she was forced to resign and sign a nondisclosure agreement after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The complaint signed by attorney Michelle M. West claimed the campaign and state director Rafael Navar engaged in “outrageous and compassionless conduct”...
