Contaminated culture media killed embryos, lawsuit says
The complaint by Tracey B. Cowan of Clarkson Law Firm PC says that CooperSurgical did not sufficiently test the embryo culture media that they manufactured and marketed, which the plaintiffs say was toxic to human sperm, eggs and embryos.




Two people are accusing a fertility company of selling defective and contaminated embryo culture, claiming this caused their embryos to die.
The complaint, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday, alleges six causes of action, including strict product liability — manufacturing defect and negligence.
