Sober living facilities throughout Los Angeles County are “little more than drug dens,” according to a lawsuit by Aetna Life Insurance Company, which claims the operators of multiple facilities engaged in fraudulent practices to attract patients and encouraged them to relapse.
Attorneys for two of the defendants said Monday that the claims are baseless and they will be seeking dismissal of the lawsuit.
