LA to settle $3M in invoices as it gets new Skid Row Trust receiver

The agreement relieves the previous receiver of his obligation to pay outstanding vendor invoices of $3.35 million and to collect a final payment of $547,000 after his 12 weeks of work.

The city of Los Angeles and the former receiver for the Skid Row Housing Trust agreed to settle $3.35 million in unpaid vendor invoices accrued during his tumultuous, three-month tenure.

Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff signed off on the agreement Wednesday, discharging former receiver Mark Adams and California Receivership Group, and directing the transfer of the remaining accounting balance.
