Orrick tentatively resolves litigation over data breach

In February and March, Orrick suffered a security breach in which the personal data of more than 450,000 people was accessed. The lead plaintiff said the firm took four months to notify those affected.

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP tentatively resolved a proposed class action stemming from a data breach at the firm this year as a federal judge agreed to pause the case pending further details.
