Fertility company sued over mass embryo deaths

The company said it made a media recall while it investigates claims that a defective solution killed embryos, but two lawsuits say public notice is lacking.

Leading fertility product manufacturer CooperSurgical Inc. was hit with two liability lawsuits Thursday on allegations that it didn’t properly test and failed to publicly recall a defective culture solution that resulted in mass embryo deaths.
