Eastern District bankruptcy judge reappointed to second term

Judge Ronald H. Sargis helped draft legislation relating to debt collection, including laws about identity theft, child support, and hospital debt collection practices.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ronald H. Sargis was reappointed to a second 14-year term on the Eastern District of California, the federal court announced Wednesday.
