Court of Appeal OKs CEQA approval for LA housing project

‘Not only did the appellate court confirm the City of Los Angeles has been properly processing its project approvals under CEQA, but the opinion also allows for the construction of 42 badly-needed for-sale, small-lot single-family homes in the El Sereno community,’ attorneys from Sheppard Mullin said in a statement.

Attorneys at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP convinced a state appellate court to reverse a challenge to a subdivision development under the California Environmental Quality Act, clearing the way for a 42-unit housing project in the Los Angeles area.
