Judge delays decision on Uber's request to pause sex assault MDL

U.S. District Judge Charles R. Breyer indicated during the hearing that he was unsure of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' timeline for issuing opinions.

A federal judge told Uber Technologies Inc. on Friday that he will rule by the end of the week on its motion to stay proceedings pending the rideshare company’s appeal of a multidistrict litigation order.
