Anti-SLAPP motion defeats mogul’s $100M suit against McDonald’s

Hueston Hennigan gets $100M racial bias in advertising claim against McDonald’s dismissed with anti-SLAPP motion.

A $100 million lawsuit accusing McDonald’s of failing to meet its commitments to Black-owned media companies failed under an anti-SLAPP motion brought by attorneys with Hueston Hennigan LLP.

The ruling by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mel “Red” Recana came as a separate lawsuit by the same plaintiff, accusing McDonald’s of racial bias in advertising, continues in federal court.
