Arcsoft Inc. and CEO found liable in $14M fraud lawsuit

Arcsoft accused of misleading shareholders about finances and planning to go public in China.

A federal jury in Oakland awarded $14 million in a fraud and breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit against photo and video software developer Arcsoft Inc. and its CEO Michael Deng, rejecting the company’s position that the plaintiffs were aware of all relevant facts before a management buyout seven years ago.
