Coinbase’s fight over arbitration returns to Supreme Court

The dispute involves two different contracts, and Coinbase argues that it is covered by the same user agreement under the Federal Arbitration Act.

The U.S. Supreme Court will consider a challenge between cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc. to reverse a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel and force plaintiffs into arbitration over money they paid to enter a sweepstakes.
