Uber cannot pause sexual assault lawsuits, US judge rules

Uber Technologies Inc. cannot pause multidistrict litigation accusing the rideshare company of ignoring the problem of its drivers sexually assaulting passengers as the plaintiffs would likely be harmed by a stay in the proceedings, a federal judge in San Francisco ruled.
