Architects accused of inflating costs on Yreka courthouse

The complaint alleges that the firm “provided deficient designs and failed to properly coordinate its work” in relation to the construction of the Siskiyou County Superior Court, which opened in June 2021.

The Judicial Council of California accused Esherick, Homsey, Dodge, and Davis APC, a prominent San Francisco architectural design firm, of incurring at least $3 million in excess costs and delaying completion of a $78 million courthouse in Yreka.
