San Diego County judge retires after 24 years on the bench

In her most recent bench assignment, Judge Patricia Garcia presided over complex family law trials and settlement conferences.

Judge Patricia Garcia hung up her robe for the last time after presiding over family court and criminal court for the last 24 years on the San Diego County Superior Court.

Her last day on the bench was Thursday. Garcia confirmed in an email that she plans to affiliate with Signature Resolution "to continue serving families through alternative dispute resolution."
