California trucker group drops CARB from emissions lawsuit

Association claims state cannot enforce Advanced Clean Fleets regulations without EPA waiver.

A trucking industry group has dropped the California Air Resources Board from its case challenging new regulations on truck emissions.

The California Trucking Association will continue its case against CARB Executive Officer Steven Cliff. The move came after Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office said the board is seeking federal approval for the new rules.
