A federal lawsuit brought on Monday by former top Twitter executives, including the general counsel and chief legal officer, accused Elon Musk, who finalized his purchase of the social media platform in 2022, of owing them over $128 million in severance.

The lawsuit was filed in San Francisco by attorneys at Sidley Austin LLP. A request for comment sent to X Corp., as Musk's company is now called, received an automatic reply that said: "Busy now, please check back later....
