OC man held on suspicion of threatening to murder family court judge

“There has been a troubling increase in threats against public servants, including judicial officers,” said U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada.

Imagine being a judge and receiving an email that reads, “I am more committed to murdering you than I am to being present as a father”.

A federal grand jury indicted a former Orange County man accused of sending that threat to the superior court judge who presided over his family law case as well as threatening to conduct an active shooting at the Lamoreaux Justice Center courthouse in Orange.
