Rodney King attorney Milton Grimes charged with $2.4m tax evasion

The indictment alleges that Grimes engaged in a scheme to withdraw $16 million from his business accounts to avoid levies by the Internal Revenue Service, causing a tax loss of approximately $2.418 million to the IRS.

A federal grand jury indicted famed Los Angeles defense attorney Milton C. Grimes on charges of or evasion of some $2.4 million in taxes, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday.
