LA utility liable for $11M in motorcycle collision

The jury found the motorcyclist negligent but not a substantial factor in causing his harm. The utility is considering appeal.

A Van Nuys jury awarded $11 million to a motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a collision after a van driven by a Los Angeles utility department employee turned into his path of travel in April 2019.
