Complaint challenges California’s EV truck transition plans

The complaint, filed Monday, alleges that the California Air Resource Board’s rule is preempted by three federal laws.

Two industry groups filed a complaint against the California Air Resources Board and Attorney General Rob Bonta, claiming that the state’s plan to phase out the use of fossil fuel-powered trucks is pre-empted by federal law.
