Court denies injunction of Microsoft-Activision merger

U.S. District Jacqueline Scott Corley wrote that she no longer had jurisdiction over the case once an appeal was filed with the 9th Circuit.

The federal judge overseeing a private antitrust action against Microsoft Corp.’s merger with Santa Monica video game developer Activision Blizzard Inc. denied the plaintiffs’ bid for a temporary restraining order, saying the court no longer had jurisdiction over the case.
