Nation of Islam loses defamation claim against ADL and Wiesenthal Center

The organizations argued that they exercised their First Amendment right to express their opinion that Louis Farrakhan’s statements were antisemitic.

A federal judge in New York threw out a defamation lawsuit the Nation of Islam filed against the Anti-Defamation League and Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center, for calling its leader, Louis Farrakhan, antisemitic.
