Yolo County jury awards $11.2M to truck driver hit during unloading

"Even though [driver Eldon Loeser] admitted to making a human error, which he acknowledged from the very beginning of the trial, [defendant Nor-Cal Beverage] put him in a position of danger," plaintiffs' attorney Bruce Broillet said.

A Yolo County jury on Wednesday awarded $11.2 million to a truck driver who suffered a massive brain injury when he was struck by a passing van after he had to get out of the truck to prepare for unloading.
