IVF firm faces multiple suits over lab accident

The accident is alleged to have killed embryos which were then transferred to patients who didn’t become pregnant.

A major in vitro fertilization company faces multiple claims it mishandled or destroyed embryos.

Two lawsuits filed in Orange County Superior Court by Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane Conway & Wise LLP Thursday claim a January accident in an Ovation Fertility lab killed embryos which were then transferred to patients who didn’t become pregnant.
