Uber accuses PayPal of unilaterally amending agreement

PayPal recently informed Uber of a "new interpretation of the parties' Global Merchant Agreement," according to a complaint filed in Santa Clara Superior Court.

Uber Technologies Inc. accused PayPal, Inc. of "unilaterally reinterpreting" their agreement to provide payment services to the rideshare company to cut costs associated with processing international payments as part of a "brazen money grab" to "boost margins and improve a flagging stock price."
