CVS faces dual lawsuits over labor, pay practices

One of the complaints alleges that employees were expected to do "housekeeping" tasks off the clock, including sending faxes.

Two wage and labor lawsuits were filed against CVS Pharmacy by former employees. A petition filed under the Private Attorneys General Act claims employees were forced to work through rest and meal breaks due to under-staffing. The other is a putative class action alleging failure to pay wages and overtime, and failure to provide meal breaks.
