Google rebuffs attempt to compel new testimony in trade secrets trial

It follows a March motion from plaintiff ReactX accusing the tech giant's conduct during previous depositions.

Google objected last week to a motion to compel deposition lodged by a company accusing the tech giant of stealing trade secrets to develop advertising products. Plaintiff ReactX has described previous testimony provided by two Google employees as "suboptimal."

The opposition was filed Wednesday in response to a March motion from ReactX which criticized Google's conduct during previous depositions.
